Check your connections, trade in your modem for a new one. 1' whatever that meant, didn't think it had anything to do with anything but I'm game, so I went to the Spectrum store the next day and traded in my old modem for a new HITRON modem (different modem entirely), brought it back to my place, had some issues provisioning with tech support over the phone, traced my modem back through my cable to a splitter then the wall, plugged new modem into wall with one short cable directly, was able to provision it and started getting 250 Mbps down, set up splitter and long cable again making sure wall/splitter/cables/modem were all really tight and secure, getting 250 Mbps from end of cable, all is well. Beginning about a month ago Had about three weeks of the modem rebooting on it's own (not the normal after hours service reboots, these were happening multiple times a day), also having trash VPN connectivity (speeds down to single digits), thought it was throttling, eventually called technical support, spoke to someone who was technically adepts and actually knew what they were talking about, first thing they did was check what type of cable modem I had, they said it was 'Version.
